Overview
The NB401 SBS-compliant gas gauge and protection IC is a single IC solution designed for battery-pack or in-system installation. The NB401 flexible configuration for 2, 3, and 4 series Li-Ion or Li-Polymer Cells. Analogfront-end with two independent ADCs support for simultaneous current and voltage(temperature) sampling. Full array of programmable protection features. Compatible with the smart battery specification SBS V2.0. The NB401 supports SHA-1/-224/256 or EC-KCDSA authentication. Low power mode. The NB401 is widely used in notebook PCs, unmanned aerial vehicle, medical and test equipment etc.
